About Me

I am a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon (In practice since '93, spine fellowship at Centers for Spinal Disorders, Cedars-Sinai) with more than 30 years of experience delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.  I am in excellent health, remain fully active, and have no plans to retire.  I also did a fellowship in foot/ankle, but would prefer to focus on spine.

I am seeking a new opportunity to contribute immediately — whether in a hospital, academic, or private practice setting.

Our practice at Orthopaedic Associates has closed as of April 30, 2025 due to economic reasons.  I have other info on my homepage.

I am offering expertise and looking for the right opportunity where I can bring my skills and compassion to new patients.  With my training and experience, I can hit the ground running.

My previous practice was approximately 70% spine (including pain management procedures), 25% foot/ankle, and 5% general ortho including occasionally covering the ER.  I would also do independent medical exams and be available for medlegal consultations.

I am looking for a stable, long-term role. I feel I can bring wisdom and experience in complex cases.  I value mentoring younger surgeons and collaborative care (with pain management).  I am interested in building a patient-centered, efficient practice, with optimal outcomes.
